It is so funny to me how all aspects of the industry can overlap. I was lucky enough to meet Brandi Alden in August 2010. A very last minute pageant entry landed me in Charlotte, NC at the NC/SC International Junior Miss Pageant. Lucky for both of us, we were selected to represent our states' titles. During the talent category, I saw first hand how fabulously talented Brandi is!!!! So I was very excited to see my sister queen named Child Model Magazine's Entertainer of the Year in Atlanta.

After being named Child Model Magazine's Entertainer of the Year, I asked Brandi 5 quick questions: Ava: So, How did you get into the industry? Brandi: I got into modeling when I first started pageants at the age of 5. Ava: What are your influences now? Brandi: I am influenced by my mood. Sometimes I just want to be comfortable and cozy and sometimes I want to try something new and bold. Ava: What are you looking forward to next? Brandi: I am a singer first so whatever I do my singing is at the top of my list. I will be recording a song in Atlanta soon for Integrity Talent Group (a part of my prize, Child Model Magazine Entertainer of the Year). Ava: That is very exciting. Can't wait to hear it! After recording your song, What are you next plans? Brandi: I am in the process of finding an Agent and moving forward with my singing and modeling. I would love to perform on Broadway someday. Ava: I can't wait to see what exciting things are in the works for you Brandi. In the spirit of NY and in spirit of fashion, What is your favorite fashion must have? Brandi: My favorite fashion would have to be anything with a hat. I like to mix styles together to see what the end result looks like. I also never go out without a pair of earings. That is a must:)
